Training session for business innovation in Colombia and Peru

Washington, D.C., January 22, 2016. YABT starts 2016 carrying out two training sessions under the Business Labs Program, focused on “Management of Innovation,” through YABT’s InnovAcción methods (Innovation in Action). These training sessions will take place in Colombia and Peru in January and February, respectively. Both workshops are possible thanks to the technical cooperation between the Government of Israel, the OAS and YABT.

The trainings aim to provide the participants a general vision about the critical elements of improving business competitiveness through the definition, implementation and management of innovation environments and processes. In addition, the business lab aims to facilitate a space for exchanging experiences and success cases. The workshops will be led by Salomón Vilensky and Laura Altschuler, specialists of the Golda Meir Mount Carmel International Training Center (MCTC) in Haifa, Israel.

The capital of Colombia will be the headquarters of the first 2016 Business Lab in Innovation from January 25 to 29, implemented in alliance with the Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá (CCB). The Lab seeks to strengthen the business model that the CCB offers to the business community of the Bogota region.

The second workshop of the year will be held in Peru, in cooperation with the Minstry of Production and IPAE Escuela de Empresarios, from February 1 to 5, which will be based in the city of Lima. This Lab is oriented towards professionals launching and developing businesses coming from diverse sectors of Peru and the rest of the region that demonstrate commitment to multiplying knowledge for entrepreneurs and PYMES. In addition, the audience will include young entrepreneurs with potential businesses/start-ups. People interested are invited to nominate themselves entering HERE.

The “InnovAcción” Business Labsare workshops of “practical training” through the means of business exercises where the participants acquire leadership skills in innovation. These skills focus also on the training of trainers with the objective of training professionals that can replicate the methods taught on this Business Labs.
