The finalists will participate in the TIC Americas 2016 finals, which will take place June 10 and 11 in Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic, as a prelude to the 46th General Assembly of the OAS. During the finals, the teams can access training opportunities, participate in business discussion tables, participate in leadership session and strengthen their business networks in the Latin American entrepreneurship ecosystem.
YABT valued the participation of each of the young entrepreneurs that completed all of the requirements to participate in this entrepreneurship competition. We invite those who did not manage to pass to the second stage to participate in the next edition of TIC Americas. We also would like to thank the judges and international experts who helped us identify the finalist teams and that now are supporting the youth in their next steps.
We would like to give special recognition to all of the partner organizations of the program, given that without their help, none of this would have been possible. PepsiCo, CBC and Postobon, main partners of Eco-Reto, the Executive Secretariat of Integral Development of the OAS (SEDI, by its Spanish acronym) for its support of the social innovation award, and BanReservas, main partner of the TIC Dominican Republic Category.
We also would like to reiterate our gratitude to the government of the Dominican Republic, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for all the support in the successful completion of the program.
