SEDI, 3 years supporting Social Innovation
Washington, D.C., April 28, 2016 – For the third consecutive year the Executive Secretariat for the Integral Development (SEDI by its Spanish initials) of the Organization of American States (OAS) provides support to the TIC Americas competition through the Social Innovation Award.
The Social Innovation Award establishes an opportunity for young entrepreneurs of the Americas, through innovation, technology, creativity and social consciousness, to develop necessary solutions to improve our region. In this way, SEDI will acknowledge the start-up with the most impact among the finalists’ proposals.

As part of his commitment to supporting entrepreneurs, Cesar Parga, Chief of Competitiveness, taught a training session in Washington, DC about “Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer, Tools and Strategies to Promote SMEs and Entrepreneurship Innovation”.
