Hemispheric Open Call: Take part in the IV Young Americas Forum!

Washington DC, February 13, 2015 If you are between 18 and 30 years, interested in the topic of youth participation and/or have a project that positively impacts your community or want to start your own initiative that contribute to the most pressing challenges in our hemisphere, the IV Americas Youth Forum (Forum IV) is your chance.

The Seventh Summit of the Americas "Prosperity with Equity: The Challenge of Cooperation in the Americas" will be held in Panama City, Panama in April 10-11 April, 2015. As part of the process of involving Social Actors in the VII Summit, the IV Forum "Youth: Partners for Prosperity", will take in April, 8-10, 2015.

The Young Americas Business Trust (YABT), the Organization of American States (OAS) and the Government of Panama invite young people between 18 and 30 years old to register on the hemispheric open call, where you can fill out your application form until March 15, 2015 on the IV Forum website (www.yabt.net/foro) or the following link:

The IV Forum is a process led by YABT that began prior to the Summit of the Americas in Mar de Plata, Argentina in 2005. The IV Forum participants aims to give the youth the opportunity to present recommendations gathered through a process of regional, national and local dialogues; report and showcase actions and projects implemented in their communities and related to Summit’s core; and think of strategies for cooperation with governments in defining and implementing the "Mandates of Action" of the VII Summit.
