CDE MIPYME Comayagua, Honduras - YABT alliance for entrepreneurship programs
Comayagua, Honduras - November 27, 2017. "Creating economic opportunities focused on innovation", an international alliance between the Secretary of Economic Development of Honduras (SDE), the Business Development Center MIPYME Valles de Comayagua and the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT/OAS), strengthening the pillars of the ecosystem of the MIPYME business development centers.
The initiative launched will allow the development of the InnovAccion Training Program "Business Labs focused on Innovation", to be held in Comayagua, Honduras, on the date of 04 to 08 December 2017.
The program aims to provide participants with an overview of the critical elements of improving business competitiveness. Applying the definition, implementation and management of innovation environments and processes. After the activity, CDE professionals and other actors of the national entrepreneurship ecosystem, will be able to access business resources. Complementary virtual training and international support networks, based on good international practices that improve the productive environment of the different regions of the country.
For a week Comayagua will be visited by international experts from Israel and YABT, with experience of the subject in different regions of the world. Turning this region of the country into an epicenter to open innovation spaces that respond to the most pressing challenges of Honduran society.
The workshop will feature plenary sessions, group elaborations, success stories and experiences from Israel - known as Start-Up Nation, led by Salomon Vilensky and Laura Altschuler - specialists from the Golda Meir International Training Center - MASHAV Carmel (MCTC) of Haifa, Israel.
InnovAcción is a workshop focused on "practical training" through business exercises where participants acquire skills that contribute to the development of innovation. The workshop focuses on the training of trainers in the subject of promotion of entrepreneurs; trainers who can act on the plane of incubators, innovation centers, universities, technological and industrial parks, productive sector, among other actors of the innovation ecosystem.
