YABT and GCL strengthen alliances to empower Young leaders

Washington DC, November 2nd, 2016 – The Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) and the Global Competitiveness Leadership Program (GCL) strengthen alliance to empower young leaders participants of the Georgetown University program.

The goal of this alliance is to open YABT opportunities to the participants of the young Latin-American GCL program. Opportunities such as the participation in the Young Americas Forum a process of the Summit of the Americas, through national dialogues which YABT coordinates under the Organization of the American States framework.

YABT programs have a positive impact on all aspects of young people’s lives. Since its creation, it has bolstered more than 40,000 young people in 75 countries through programs and activities that permit young people to be productive members of their communities, opening a space so that they can act as partners contributing to the development of their countries and the region.

The GCL Alumni Program is an association of former students from the Global Competitiveness Leadership Program at the Georgetown University, founded in 2009. This organization promotes the integration between students and multiple generations of leaders with diverse backgrounds; It provides valuable information of opportunities to develop business and personal skills, among others.

The cooperation of YABT and GCL benefits young people of the region who will be able to get access to opportunities created specially with the goal of empower the future Young leaders of the Americas.
