The International Workshop "Entrepreneurial Innovation: Business from the idea to implementation" that will take place in Haifa, Israel, on July 17-30, 2013 is made possible thanks to the international cooperation between the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) and the State of Israel, by way of Israel's Agency for Development and Cooperation (MASHAV) and the Golda Meir Mount Carmel International Training Center (MCTC). The young entrepreneurs from the Caribbean selected to participate will have the opportunity to benefit from training led by professionals from various organizations involved in programs and public policy regarding entrepreneurship.
The participants will have the opportunity to present on the state of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in their countries, as well as the experiences and success stories from the programs and initiatives they manage in their organizations. The Workshop will provide them with entrepreneurial tools, methodologies and resources to aid with the improvement of their capacity and coverage of local, national and regional programs. Ideally, upon their return to their home countries, the participants will be able to share with others the knowledge and experience they will have gained from the Workshop.
YABT, MASHAV and MCTC are committed to the support of the efforts of the countries in the Americas that are geared towards entrepreneurship and innovation with the objective to improve economic and social development, while generating support opportunities for entrepreneurs and their business initiatives.

These Business Labs are directly linked with supporting youth entrepreneurship programs in the Caribbean, including the Caribbean Innovation Challenge (CIC), an international entrepreneur competition and business start-up accelerator for young people in the CARICOM Member states. The CIC is a component of the UNDP Barbados and the OECS Project: "Youth Innovation (Youth-IN): A Caribbean Network for Youth Development"
