On June 25th, 2013 the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) presented the results of the Talent and Innovation Challenges of the Americas (TIC Americas 2013) program to the Inter-American Council for Integral Development (CIDI), an Organization of American States body directly answerable to the General Assembly, with decision-making power in matters of partnership for integral development. The purpose of CIDI is to promote cooperation among its Member States for the furtherance of their integral development and, in particular, to help eliminate extreme poverty. The session was lead by the CIDI Chair, Ambassador Beale and Mrs. Sherry Tross, Executive Secretary for Integral Development.

In their comments, Guyana and Bolivia highlighted the importance of the programs carried out by the organization, while Canada, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the United States of America made enquiries into YABT's initiatives and processes and expressed their interest in youth entrepreneurship.
On behalf of YABT, Mr. Viguria thanked the organizations, governments and partners, such as the Organization of American States and it's Permanent Missions, especially those of Guatemala and Barbados, PepsiCo, the United Nations Development Program Sub-regional Office for Barbados and the OECS, the Government of Israel for the support they provided to this year's TIC Americas and CIC 2013 programs, and consequently their involvement in the development of youth entrepreneurship in the region.
