YABT announces National Innovation Management Workshop in Colombia
Washington, DC.

Israeli specialists will train executives and academics to strengthen innovation in Colombian businesses.

As part of the intersectional synergy to boost innovation among Colombian entrepreneurs and high-impact microenterprises, the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) announces that the National Workshop on Innovation Management will be held from November 13th to the 16th in Medellin, Colombia, within the framework of the Global Entrepreneurship Week.

The workshop is organized through the international technical cooperation between YABT, Israel's Agency for International Development Cooperation (MASHAV) and the Mount Carmel International Training Center (MCTC), and in partnership with the Administrative Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (Colciencias) of the Government of Colombia and Comfenalco Antioquia.

These Colombian institutions have joined efforts with YABT to train a group of forty people from the private and academic sectors of Colombia. This will provide an adequate space for exchanging and building alliances between public, private and academic entities. The workshop will be led by international specialists of the MCTC Israel that have a wide set of experience in business development and entrepreneurship.

Participants will be able to develop innovation skills through a practical methodology which will enable them to increase the competitiveness of their business or organizations. Furthermore, the workshop aims to improve support systems for entrepreneurs by incorporating innovation in all phases of business management. In addition, it provides a space for interaction to promote knowledge exchange between participants and facilitators, and familiarize participants with Israel's experience in the modules of the workshop.

After the selected attendees complete the workshop, they will be presented with an official Nex Links Certification for their respective organizations. The entities receiving the certification meet the requirements of the NexLinks Certification and will be recognized as support agencies for young entrepreneurs and will also join the NexLinks hemispheric network which is integrated by different institutions from the OAS Member States.
