Texas, March 9 2016 – Luis Viguria, Chief Executive Officer of the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT), will be a speaker at SXSW, the most important annual technology and music festival in the United States.
Luis Viguria will be a part of the panel “Politics SXSW: The emerging consensus on technology politics of the Millennium” Saturday, March 12 in Austin. The panel, focused on politics and entrepreneurship, will center on: crowdfunding as a tool in the exchange economy, innovation and new economies, users of new technologies, among others.
This space proposes "To listen to the political leaders and influential people to reflect on the way in which they are bringing new ideas to political and technological debates." Accompanying the YABT on the panel will be: Steven Olikara, Co-Founder and President of Millennial Action Project; Evangeline Johnson representative of Terra Eclipse and Travis Moore, Founder of Congreso Tech.
The Keynote speaker of the event will be the President of the United States Barack Obama, marking a historical landmark for being the first time that a president participates in SXSW. President Obama will participate on March 11th in a conversation about "citizen participation in the 21st century, before an audience of creators, emerging technology users and entrepreneurs that are defining the future of our connected lives."
At the same time, the First Lady Michelle Obama will be present at the event on March 16th discussing ways to break down barriers to accessing education for women and girls globally.
