Washington D.C., March 6, 2014 − The Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) is pleased to announce that by March 2 a total of 2,165 teams coming from 39 countries completed their application form for the three categories of TIC Americas: Eco-Challenge, Social Innovation and Economic Innovation.
The participating teams will have until March 15 to complete the required documents: their business prototype, their business promotional video, and their business website. During the following four weeks, international judges will evaluate these components in order to select the finalists for TIC Americas. Over the next 10 days, YABT team members will assist the young entrepreneurs with the preparation and development of these components.
The participating teams that classify as finalists will have the chance to travel and attend to TIC Americas finals in Asuncion, Paraguay in June 2014. Moreover, all participants will have the opportunity to participate in training sessions, round tables, leadership sessions, and network will local enterprises.
Whether teams are winner, finalists or participants, they all have equal access to TIC Americas' advantageous programs during and after the finals. Among these programs, participants will have access to YABT's international young entrepreneurs network, online trainings, on-site workshops, and so forth.
Lastly but not least, YABT invites all young Paraguayans interested in entrepreneurship and innovation to take part in TIC Americas finals in the upcoming June 2014. To RSVP, click here.
