Washington DC, November 2rd, 2016 - The Young Americas Business Trust is an international organization that aims to support young entrepreneurs around the world. Therefore, it will develop a myriad of activities inEl Salvadorto empower and provide opportunities for young people in Central America.
YABT is pleased to announce the implementation of a Mini Business Lab with the support of the Inter-American Development Bank, on November 3rd- 4th in San Salvador. The launch of the Eco-Challenge, Central America category, will take placein this city as well, on November 4ththanks to the support of CBC.
The Mini Business Lab consists of an interactive session where Salvadoran early-stage entrepreneurs learn, receive tips and tools to generate innovative ideas and transform them into profitable and scalable business.
The Eco-Challenge 8.0 is the environmental innovation special category within the Talent and Innovation Competition of the Americas - TIC Americas. The Eco-Challenge supports young people in Latin America and the Caribbean to develop environmental solutions and turn them into sustainable businesses. During its launch, young Salvadorans will access to all the information they need to participate and register their proposals in one of the 3 new challenges proposed by the competition.
From November 7th to 11th, YABT and MASHAV, the Israel's Agency for International Cooperation for Development, will offer a full Business Lab in San Salvador. This program is possible thanksto more than 15 years of collaboration between the two organizations. The Business Labs consist on five days of practical exercises for young entrepreneurs with the aim to foster business awareness and develop the right set of skills to take the first steps in business creation.
