Washington, D.C., September 7, 2021 – The Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) is pleased to invite the international community to participate in a Policy Lab | Summit Talks: Young Women Entrepreneurs and COVID-19 in Latin America and the Caribbean, a virtual event to take place on September 23rd, 2021 at 11:00 am – 12:30 pm (Washington, DC time).
The Policy Lab, a session of the Young Americas Forum, is an initiative of the YABT and the Summits of the Americas Secretariat (SAS/OAS), in collaboration with the Gender Innovation Lab for Latin America and the Caribbean of the World Bank (LACGIL-WB), to support OAS Member States, international organizations and youth networks as they shape economic recovery strategies from COVID-19, with a particular focus on young women entrepreneurs.
The event will convene policy makers, development practitioners and other stakeholders who will benefit first-hand from learning about good practices, recommendations and findings from three concrete inferential studies developed by LACGIL-WB over the past months.
