Lima, Peru, 12 April 2018 - The Finals of the 13th edition of the Talent and Innovation of the Americas Competition (TIC Americas) were held in parallel to the V Young Americas Forum, in the framework of the VIII Summit of the Americas. The winners were selected from a total of 4,716 proposals presented from 41 countries, including all the categories. There were 21 finalist teams, representing 14 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. The partnering organizations of the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT), who contributed to the awards of the 7 teams that won, and who have supported in the organization of the TIC Americas Competition, include: PepsiCo, cbc, the World Bank, Postobón and WeWork.

The TIC Americas Competition is organized by the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) as a support platform and business accelerator for young entrepreneurs. Its purpose is to provide guidance, training, mentoring, seed capital and investment, as well as access to an international cooperation network.
YABT is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that works to promote the social and economic development of young people around the world in cooperation with the Organization of American States (OAS).
