Alliances to advance dynamic entrepreneurship
YABT firmly believes that a primary driver of sustainable economic development is entrepreneurship. Therefore, during the globally recognized Global Entrepreneurship Week, YABT supported several activities which promoted and supported young entrepreneurs and innovators from the Americas:
In Colombia, YABT and the Bogota Chamber of Commerce, organized the second edition of the International Meeting on High-Impact Entrepreneurship within the framework of the NexLinks program. For two days, a group of experts and entrepreneurs debated and discussed new entrepreneurship tendencies in the hemisphere and the world among other relevant topics.
Ecuador was also host of a NexLinks Workshop. In Peru, YABT was part of the activities led by the Ignacio de Loyola University, lecturing on social entrepreneurship and access to financing.
As part of the Caribbean Innovation Competition (CIC) trainings, YABT developed Business Labs on Intellectual Property and Branding for Creative Industries in Trinidad and Tobago and Belize. The Assistant Secretary General of the Organization of American States, H.E. Néstor Mendez, chaired the opening ceremony of the trainings in Belize.
