Washington, D.C. June 25, 2021 - At the Awards Ceremony of the XVI edition of the Talent and Innovation Competition of the Americas (TIC Americas) today, seven finalist teams were officially declared winners of the InnovAction Challenge, the Eco Challenge 12.0 and the TIC Jalisco.
The virtual Awards Ceremony provided finalists international visibility, as well as an opportunity to participate in dialogues, conferences and presentations that solidified them as the future of the entrepreneurial ecosystem of our region and all of Latin America and the Caribbean.
The Young Americas Business Trust thanks all of the strategic partners that made the Competition possible, including the Organization of American States (OAS), PepsiCo Latin America Beverages, the Summits of the Americas Secretariat, Inter-American Foundation and the Secretaría de Innovación Ciencia y Tecnología del Estado de Jalisco, for their commitment to the development and empowerment of young entrepreneurs.
The winning teams received a cash prize of $5,000 U.S. dollars in seed capital, as well as a benefits package that includes mentorship, feedback from international experts, tailored training sessions and promotional campaigns.
