Washington DC, February 8, 2016 – The Young Americas Business Trust will implement, next Thursday, February 11 at 4 PM, a training workshop tailored for Dominican youth in the TIC Dominican Republic category of the TIC Americas 2016 Competition. The event will take place at the headquarters of FUNGLODE, on street Capitán Eugenio de Marchena 26, Santo Domingo.
The objective of the event is to give support to Dominican youth that are participating in the TIC Dominican Republic category and to those that still have not registered their proposals but intend to participate in the Competition. For this, Isabella Troconis, Eco-Challenge Coordinator, will advise the participants about the requirements of the Competition and how to complete them in a successful manner.
YABT, BanReservas, FUNGLODE and other partners will launch TIC Dominican Republic in an event that seeks to incentivize youth to be part of the most important Talent and Innovation Competition of the Americas, TIC Americas.

That same Thursday, at 10 AM a press conference will take place where they will formally launch the TIC Dominican Republic. It will take place on the premises of BanReservas in which officials from YABT, the Organization of American States (OAS) and BanReservas will participate.
The YABT in partnership with BanReservas, create this year the first national edition of TIC Dominican Republic for the purpose of recognizing the Dominican entrepreneurial talent at an international level, placing a special emphasis on Dominican youth abroad that are interested in launching or developing a innovative solution in their native country.
