Washington DC, January 16, 2015 —The Young Americas Business Trust (YABT), the Organization of American States (OAS), Pepsico, cbc and Postobón are pleased to announce that 2,562 proposals from young citizens of each of the 34 Member States of the OAS by the closing date of registrations for the tenth edition of the Talent and Innovation Competition of the Americas (TIC Americas).
These proposals that were submitted for competiting in TIC Americas also respond to the priorities of the VII of the Americas and will be showcased during the IV Young Americas Forum, which will take place on April 7-10, 2015 in Panama city, Panama.
If you have a project that aims to promote culture and creativad in your country, you can still apply to the new category of Cultural Entrepreneurship Prize of the Americas until February 6, 2015.
In the coming weeks, a group of nearly 500 international judges from both the public and private sectors will evaluate their business plans, market study among other requirements to select the best teams that will compete in Panama. YABT will announce the finalists on March 6 through their official websites and social networks. Once announced, YABT will provide a full scholarship to a member of each of the finalist teams in order to participate in the finals of TIC Americas and the IV Young Americas Forum.
The Talent and Innovation Competition of the Americas (TIC Americas) is an international entrepreneurship support platform and business accelerator for young entrepreneurs and business startups.
