Registration for the Caribbean Innovation Competition has been extended until January 31st!

Washington DC – January 15th, 2017 - Caribbean Entrepreneurs, we invite you to participate in the Caribbean Innovation Competition (CIC) 2017. As a result to the positive response, interest and participation of entrepreneurs we therefore extend the competition deadline from January 15, 2017 to January 31st, 2017 and the deliverables will be due on February 15th, 2017. We encourage you to take full advantage of the extended deadline for registering.

CIC is an international entrepreneur competition and business start-up accelerator for young people in the CARICOM Member and Associate States. Awarding projects in these categories: Creative industries & Technology Commercialization, the CIC promotes innovation, the development of entrepreneurial initiatives, and taps into the potential of young people to generate ideas that benefit their societies and communities.

Focused on "Digital Enterprises", the competition will award projects in the following Categories:

1. Creative Industries – generating, disseminating and commercialization of creative content in sectors such as: film, radio and TV production, advertising, music, design, videogames, fashion, performing arts, among others.

2. Technology Commercialization – effective transfer of university, engineering and research products, intellectual property (IP) and other discoveries to the marketplace for the benefit of society. This includes sectors such as Education, Health, Engineering, and Agriculture.

This is an opportunity for young people to develop and improve their business ideas and plans this is why we encourage entrepreneurs to register their ideas and take the challenge.
