Washington, D.C., March 18th, 2022. Youth continue to step forward and inspire multiple parties to build a sustainable future, three months to the IX Summit of the Americas in the United States of America.

Thus, on March 17, the virtual Conversation “Road to the Summit: A green and equitable future for the Americas” took place, where young entrepreneurs Germán Santillan, Founder of Oaxacanita Chocolate and Ignacio Estrada, Co-Founder of Green Concreta, provided significant contributions to the debate on ways to stimulate and generate green economic growth strategies and equitable in the Americas.

This was the third in a series of round tables organized by the Atlantic Council through the Adrienne Arsht Center for Latin America and in collaboration with the United States Department of State. Where the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) contributes as an ally by bringing the diversity of youth voices.

Both young leaders are beneficiaries of the Talent and Innovation Competitions of the Americas Program (TIC Americas) developed by the YABT and the OAS, and are a clear example of the impact of the Entrepreneurship in Action component of the Young Americas Forum, the official platform for youth participation in the Summit of the Americas.
