Panama City, Panama; June 24, 2026. — More than 100 young people from the region took part in the IV Young Americas Meeting, organized by the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) as the official youth activity of the 56th General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS), held in Panama City, Panama.

Washington, D.C. April 24, 2026 — The Young Americas Business Trust (YABT), an international organization working in cooperation with the Organization of American States (OAS), successfully concluded the first In-Person Module of the 2026 Leadership Labs. This week of intensive training and dialogue with authorities and experts brought together young leaders from across the region, who strengthened their capacities in diplomacy, multilateralism, and hemispheric leadership.

I had the privilege to attend the 22nd ParlAmericas Plenary Assembly and 10th Gathering of the Open Parliament Network which was held from May 19 to 22, 2026 in Ottawa, Canada. The Assembly brought together parliamentarians, experts, and youth delegates from across the Americas to examine parliamentary leadership on trade, innovation, and security in a rapidly shifting geopolitical and economic landscape.
