InnovAction Challenge 2.0: Empowering Innovation and Sustainability in Latin America and the Caribbean

November 1st, 2023

The Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) and the Inter-American Foundation are proud to present the launch of InnovAction Challenge 2.0, a special category within the successful annual program: Talent and Innovation Competitions of the Americas (TIC Americas). Since its inception in 2007, TIC Americas has been a beacon of entrepreneurship and innovation, and with InnovAction Challenge 2.0, we reaffirm our commitment to sustainable growth and business transformation in the region. Registers open: https://ticamericas.net/innova/2023-24/en/

InnovAction Challenge 2.0 is built as an engine for sustainable prosperity by accelerating both existing ventures and new initiatives, aiming to increase the socioeconomic participation of marginalized groups in our business community. This program will recognize and reward innovative solutions and business models that contribute to managing natural resources, increasing energy efficiency and reducing waste.

Through our virtual training platform, the Business Opportunity Online Training Camp (BOOTCamp), coordinated by YABT, young entrepreneurs will have the unique opportunity to connect with industry leaders and develop strategies that allow them to conceive and implement their own business solutions.

InnovAction Challenge 2.0 will serve as a platform to support business development, offering training, mentoring, and visibility opportunities to help young entrepreneurs establish, operate, and potentially expand their micro and small businesses. This challenge promotes entrepreneurship, sustainable development, and environmental resilience in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a special focus on marginalized communities that are most vulnerable to natural disasters.

In its second edition, the program promotes environmentally conscious business models in emerging economies and empowers change agents through innovation and sustainable solutions. By supporting a wide range of young entrepreneurs, the program becomes an ally in building a more equitable and sustainable future for the planet.

By registering for free, participants will have access to a series of exclusive benefits, including:

  • Live business training conducted by internationally renowned experts at BOOT CAMP.
  • Access to seed capital to finance their projects.
  • The opportunity to be part of a growing community of young entrepreneurs throughout the region.
  • International visibility for their projects to attract investment opportunities.
